Presentation - Migrating to the Cloud: The Essential Standards Explained - SOC2, ISO, CSA, 800-53, ITSG-33, FEDRAMP - Including a Demo of AWS and Azure

SOC2, ISO, CSA, 800-53,ITSG-33, FEDRAMP – How do I use this alphabet? Which security framework/standard will provide peace in the middle east and help me lose weight?

As companies are moving to cloud, compliance and auditing especially by third parties are becoming the norm. Combining this fact with various security frameworks creates information overload for security professionals. In this session Murat Cecen and Barton McKinley will go over common security frameworks, standards to used for self assessments, third-party reporting, security assessments and security audits. We will cover the following topics:

  • SOC2
  • FedRAMP, NIST 800-53
  • NIST CSF
  • CSA STAR, CCM
  • ISO 27001,27002,27017, 27018
  • Government of Canada Direction on Secure Use of Commercial Cloud Services
  • Demo of AWS and Azure/Office 365 portals on how to use these standards/frameworks.
